About Your Visit
What is a head spa?
A head spa is a Japanese-inspired scalp and hair treatment that combines deep cleansing, scalp massage, and conditioning. At Lavie Bella, we elevate this experience with professional-grade products, personalized scalp analysis, and a private luxury environment.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended to guarantee your preferred date and time. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever is comfortable. We provide everything you need — your clothes stay dry. No special preparation required.
Do I need to wash my hair before?
No! We prefer to see your scalp in its natural state. Part of the experience is a thorough cleansing and treatment.
How long does a session take?
Sessions range from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the service you choose. Arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.
Is there parking?
Yes. Street parking is free and we have 4 dedicated spots directly in front of the studio.
What is the cancellation policy?
To confirm your appointment, we collect a 20% deposit at booking. The deposit transfers to your new appointment time if you need to reschedule, but is non-refundable for no-shows. We appreciate 24 hours notice for any changes.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! $200 gift cards are available online and can be sent instantly via email. Visit our gift cards page to purchase.
Where is Lavie Bella located?
Lavie Bella Head Spa is at 11688 South Street, Suite B-202, in Artesia City Plaza — right on the LA/OC border. We serve guests from Cerritos, Long Beach, Torrance, Carson, Lakewood, Downey, Buena Park, and communities across LA and Orange County. Minutes from the 91/605 interchange, with free parking.
How much does a head spa session cost?
Our seasonal pricing — what guests pay year-round — is $109 for Essential (60 min), $145 for Gold (75 min), and $175 for Platinum (90 min). The Scalp Reset, our scalp health read with personalized care guidance, is $145 (75 min). Full menu and add-ons live on our services page.
What's the difference between Essential, Gold, and Platinum?
Essential (60 min, $109) is the entry — scalp analysis, hot towel, organic wash and deep conditioning, plus a shoulder/neck/face massage and light blow dry. Gold (75 min, $145) adds a mini facial, relaxing scalp massage, mineral foot bath, and complimentary snack and drink. Platinum (90 min, $175) is the full escape — everything in Gold plus VIP robe and slippers, exfoliating scalp treatment, custom deep conditioner, and targeted scalp therapy.
Do you offer couples treatments?
Yes — Couples Gold ($260, 75 min/guest) gives each guest the full Gold experience in our private couples suite: scalp analysis, hot towel, organic wash + conditioning, shoulder/neck/face massage, mini facial, scalp massage, mineral foot bath, and snack & drink. Couples Platinum ($310, 90 min/guest) adds VIP robe & slippers, exfoliating scalp treatment, custom deep conditioner, and targeted scalp therapy. Book on our couples page or by phone.
Can we book a group?
Yes. Our VIP Group experience is $99 per guest (60 min) or $125 per guest (75 min Gold), with a 5-guest minimum. The whole studio is reserved private for your group. Group bookings happen by phone or contact form — not online.
Do you speak Vietnamese?
Yes — our owner Vicky and every member of our service team are fluent in both Vietnamese and English. Just let us know your preference when you book.
Is gratuity expected?
Tipping is optional on individual and couples treatments — appreciated but never required. For private group reservations of 5 or more, we kindly ask for a minimum 12% gratuity — this helps cover the studio buyout and the dedicated team coverage these private experiences require. Cash or card both work at checkout.
Can I bring my child to my appointment?
Children 10 and older are welcome to book their own session — we recommend they be accompanied by a parent or guardian during the visit. Treatments run 60-90 minutes.
What happens on my first visit?
Arrive 10 minutes early. We'll start with a short intake about your hair history, routines, and what you're hoping to address — then move into the treatment. If you booked a Scalp Reset, your therapist will walk you through what they saw across the scalp and give you personalized guidance on home care and follow-up visits.
About the Scalp Reset & Scalp Health
What's the difference between a Head Spa and a Scalp Reset?
Our head spa treatments (Essential, Gold, Platinum) are luxury relaxation experiences — focused on pampering, massage, and premium products. The Scalp Reset is our proprietary scalp health protocol — a structured assessment with camera analysis, condition scoring across 8 areas, personalized treatment, and a custom Verdict Report. Different purposes, same beautiful studio.
What is the Scalp Reset?
The Scalp Reset is our scalp health read built around four elements: an intake questionnaire before the camera comes on, an eight-area scope across the whole scalp, a clear verdict on what each area shows, and personalized recommendations on home care products and follow-up visits as needed. It's 75 minutes total — the full read, your first treatment, and time to walk through everything with your therapist before you leave. Learn more about the full protocol →
How often should I get a Scalp Reset?
The initial Scalp Reset is your baseline. After that, most clients follow a treatment program with Scalp Renewal sessions every 2-4 weeks, depending on their condition and goals. Your Verdict Report includes a recommended cadence.
What's in the Verdict Report?
Your Verdict Report is a personalized document showing your scalp analysis results, condition scores across 8 areas, camera images, and a recommended treatment pathway. It's the roadmap for your scalp health journey — and you take it home.
What conditions can you help with?
We commonly see clients dealing with buildup, flaking, thinning, oiliness, dryness, and general scalp sensitivity. We provide observational assessments and personalized care recommendations. For medical concerns, we always recommend consulting a dermatologist. Explore our Scalp Health Hub for more information.
Is the Scalp Reset right for me if I don't have visible problems?
Absolutely. Many clients come in thinking their scalp is fine — and are surprised by what the analysis reveals. Buildup, dehydration, and early signs of imbalance are often invisible to the naked eye. Think of it like a skin check for your scalp.
Is the scalp camera safe?
Completely safe — it's a non-invasive camera that sits on the surface of your scalp, no needles or chemicals. We treat it as one piece of a four-part read: an intake questionnaire before the camera turns on, an eight-area scope across the whole scalp, a clear verdict on what each area shows, and personalized guidance on home care and follow-up visits. The camera is the tool — the system around it is what turns a session into real progress.
Will you diagnose my condition?
We provide observational assessments and personalized care recommendations based on what we see. We do not diagnose medical conditions — for medical concerns, we recommend consulting a dermatologist.
